🐶 Herbal Dog Rinse

Use this after shampooing to help soothe itchy skin, repel fleas, and leave coats soft and fresh.

  • ½ bucket boiling water
  • 3 cups Artemesia Afra leaves
  • ½ bucket warm water

Method: Pour the boiling water over the leaves. Let it steep until completely cool, then strain. Add the warm water and use as a final rinse for your dog after their bath.


🌿 4 Thieves Vinegar — Body Rub & Bug Spray

This ancient vinegar blend is perfect for camping, mosquito-prone areas, and even insect infestations around the home.

  • 4 cups apple cider or white vinegar
  • ½ cup Artemesia Afra
  • ½ cup fresh lavender flowers
  • ½ cup fresh sage leaves
  • ½ cup fresh rosemary sprigs

Method: Mix all ingredients in a glass jar with a screw top. Place in the sun for 4 weeks. Shake daily, and once a week, strain and replace with fresh herbs. After 4 weeks, your vinegar will be infused and ready to use.

To Use: Dilute 50/50 with water. Use as a:

  • Natural mosquito repellent (body spray)
  • Spray for fruit flies, woolly aphids, and garden pests

Tip: Always wash fruit and veg well before eating after any vinegar use. This remedy is wonderfully potent and smells fantastic too!


💨 Winter Sinus Inhalant

This steam blend helps open the sinuses, clear congestion and soothe the chest during cold months.

  • A handful of Artemesia Afra (Wilde Als)
  • A handful of fresh eucalyptus leaves
  • 20 whole cloves
  • 20 black peppercorns
  • 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 5 drops tea tree essential oil
  • 5 drops camphor essential oil

Method: Mix everything together in a bowl and pack into 250ml glass jars. When needed, scoop a portion into a bowl of steaming hot water, cover your head with a towel, and inhale the vapours deeply for 10 minutes.
